Last updated: 20 October 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by MM Hearing Limited (company number 14795809), trading as The Clevedon Hearing Clinic, of 22 The Triangle, Clevedon, North Somerset, BS21 6NG. We are part of The Hearing Clinic Group. For the purposes of UK data protection law, MM Hearing Limited is the data controller for personal information collected through this site, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZB625976.

What information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, such as your name, phone number, email address and any details you include when you fill in our contact form, book an appointment online, or get in touch by phone or email. If you visit the clinic, we also hold clinical and appointment records relating to your care, kept separately from this website.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you browse the site, such as pages viewed and how you found us, through the analytics and advertising tools described below.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies for two purposes: to understand how visitors use this site (Google Analytics) and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising (Google Ads and Meta/Facebook). These are not essential to the site working, so we only set them if you accept them using the cookie banner shown when you first visit. You can choose "Reject non-essential" to browse without these cookies, or change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data and revisiting.

We do not use cookies for anything beyond analytics and advertising measurement, and we do not sell your information to third parties.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, arrange and manage appointments, provide hearing care and aftercare, and, where you've agreed to cookies, to understand and improve our website and advertising. We rely on your consent for non-essential cookies, on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and on the necessity of processing to provide clinical care you've asked for.

Who we share it with

We share information with service providers who help us run the clinic and website, such as our website hosting provider, our booking and analytics tools, and hearing aid manufacturers where needed to supply or service your equipment. We don't share your information with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep clinical records for as long as professional guidance requires (currently at least ten years from your last appointment, longer in some cases). Website enquiry and booking details not linked to an ongoing clinical record are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete or restrict it in some circumstances, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children through it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
