What types of hearing aids do you offer in Clevedon?

Are hearing aid consultations free?
Yes. The consultation and the hearing test are free, and there is no obligation. You leave with a clear recommendation and the full price in writing.
How much do hearing aids cost?
It depends on the technology level, not the style. Our price includes the fitting, follow-ups, lifetime aftercare and, on selected devices, a five-year warranty, with flexible payment options available. We quote in full at your free consultation.
Are modern hearing aids discreet?
Very. Receiver-in-canal models are slim and sit behind the ear almost unseen, and completely-in-canal and invisible-in-canal styles sit inside the ear canal out of sight.
Are rechargeable hearing aids available?
Yes. Most receiver-in-canal, behind-the-ear and full-shell in-the-ear models are rechargeable. Charge overnight and wear all day.
Will hearing aids help in background noise?
Yes, and this is where technology level matters most. Directional microphones and AI processing in Silver and Gold devices are designed to pull speech out of noise in restaurants and groups.
Do hearing aids connect to phones and televisions?
Most modern models stream calls, music and TV audio over Bluetooth, with a phone app to adjust volume and programmes.
Do I need a hearing test before getting hearing aids?
Yes. Hearing aids are programmed to your individual hearing test, so we always test first. Ours is free and takes 60 to 90 minutes.
How long does it take to get used to hearing aids?
Usually a few weeks. Your brain relearns sounds it has been missing, and we fine-tune the aids over that period as part of your aftercare.
What happens if my hearing changes?
We re-test and reprogramme your hearing aids as part of your lifetime aftercare. Regular hearing reviews are included.
How long do hearing aids last?
Typically five to seven years with good care. Selected devices come with a five-year warranty, and we handle cleaning and repairs.
